Checkpoint 2: one little step backward
Ok, while its fascinating to find out more about my own diet and metabolism, it’s a little disappointing to put in this much work and to completely change your diet habits – and then to gain a pound back. Frustrating. But it’s “officially” only been 2 weeks within the program, so I need to have a little more patience. The good thing is that my body composition is already changing — belts can be tightened another notch — and I have tons of energy. The rest will come with time and perseverance.
What I’ve noticed is how certain activities (sitting down to watch a movie at home, cooking dinner for my family) causes a Pavlovian reaction for certain kinds of foods (all carbs – shocker).
