So…you might have noticed some changes today to the site. I’m closing down my “management” blog and expanding the scope of this one, although I’m thinking about ditching the and samaritan-web moniker, as that project may be put to rest, as it is morphing into something different. Ah, change — gotta love it.

Since the focus has been expanded to include my more general ramblings, and not just collaborative technology, I thought I’d share some pictures of my latest home away from home here at Microsoft. My building is one of the older on the main campus, and is rumored to be in the path of bulldozers sometime next year. We’ll see. That kind of activity usually doesn’t happen as quickly as you’d like. But this building is a massive waste of expensive real estate. Tear it down, build something with underground parking, that’s what I say.

My office is a bit of a cave, I admit, but it’s growing on me. I can live without the Brady Bunch carpeting, but I like the wallspace. We’ve been told no painting the walls, but I was thinking about bringing in my wide assortment of posters from 80’s bands, and go for the dorm room collage motif.
