#MVPbuzzChat with Eric Riz

Eric Riz - the man, the myth, the legendIn Episode 26 of the #MVPbuzzChat interview series, I caught up with another fellow Office Servers & Services MVP and close personal friend, Eric Riz (@RIZinsights), the founder and CEO of EmptyCubicle (https://emptycubicle.com/), which is billed as “the next generation of HR software to improve the process of hiring verified candidates.” Eric and I go back many years, and can blame many of our gray hairs on each other. We often share inside jokes via social channels, the origins of which we don’t even remember…and yet we continue to perpetuate.

After the jokes, we spent much of our conversation discussing his company, and how the evolution of the Microsoft Graph, the integration of LinkedIn, and collaboration technology all play a part in how he is building his company, and the solutions they provide. But what i really think is the primary takeaway from this video is a real-life example of creating an intelligent workplace, with solutions that are thoroughly integrated and provide deep insights into your business – in this case, HR processes around vetting and hiring new employees. Specifically, he talks about helping HR organizations get much better at identifying the right candidates, and verifying the accuracy of their employment and technical training claims, saving companies time and expense in chasing down and validating this kind of information.z`
