If your passion is project management, you may be interested in my session at 11:30am within the ‘Vision’ track:
Understanding Tasks End-to-End
Abstract: Microsoft has begun to integrate the various task-based capabilities within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, creating a consolidated user experience. We’re not 100% there yet, but for project managers and task-driven stakeholders, it is important to understand what is available today, how tasks communicate (and don’t communicate) with each other across workloads, and where Microsoft is going in the future. This session is a review of task management across the entire Microsoft 365 landscape to help you understand where tasks are created, integrated, and managed end-to-end.
In addition to the event renaming and the move to Friday, we have added something new this year: full-day training sessions on Saturday, also at SLCC. While not free, each of the speakers is offering a discount code on their social media accounts to make this an event anyone can afford, with lunch provided. Here are the courses being offered:
- Connecting with Power BI by Chrissy Geluk
- Getting Started with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) by MVP Hugo Bernier
- PowerApps – Come Build and App With Us by Ron & Ben Fetters
As is our tradition here in Utah, we will also be hosting a ShareSki activity on Saturday, giving you a chance to socialize on the slopes with some of your favorite speakers and locals. This year we will be enjoying beautiful Park City Mountain Resort and lunch will be generously provided by Sovereign SP. If you would like to ski with others, meet at the Payday Express lift line at the bottom of the Park City Resort at 9:00 am. If you purchase your tickets online, you can save quite a bit of time and money! Free Lunch sponsored by Sovereign SP at Miners Camp at the bottom of Silverlode Express and Quicksilver Gondola at 12:30 – Just look for the Sovereign SP sign. That’s a lot of activity happening this week, and I hope to see you there! I’ll be at SLCC both Friday and Saturday, helping to keep things running smoothly — and conducting interviews of speakers and attendees for the CollabTalk Podcast and CollabTalk YouTube pages. Be sure to subscribe to both for updates on these recordings!
